Grid SFTP Integration
With Grid SFTP Integration, data files can be transmitted between our clients and Moody's over a secure channel.
All SFTP Integration data delivered through this system-to-system integration method utilize proprietary file formats, data encryption, and a secure file transfer protocol, or SFTP, to safely transport files to a designated server "drop zone."
Moody's currently supports the following file types for this service:
Review Inquiry Batch (RIB)
Review Inactivate Portfolio (RIP)
Grid Data Feed
Review Inquiry Batch (RIB)
The SFTP Review Inquiry Batch (RIB) file type allows firms to submit inquiries and receive alerts and results from Grid .
For each RIB file submission through this method, Grid issues a batch ID, processes the batch, and returns alerts and results responses.
This solution:
Utilizes a push/push data transfer model where our customer's system pushes an input file to a Moody's SFTP server and the resulting response files are pushed back to our customer's SFTP server.
Can accept data submissions of 1 to 100,000 inquiries per data file.
Protects at-rest files and ensures secure data exchanges between Grid and our customers with data encryption.
Supports both PSV/pipe delimited text and XML file formats.
Results are viewable via the Grid web interface.
Note
Whether you submit inquiries through the web or as an SFTP RIB file, you have the option of receiving an XML or PIPE delimited response with your results.
Review Inactivate Portfolio (RIP)
The SFTP Review Inactivate Portfolio (RIP) file type allows firms to inactivate portfolio monitoring records.
For each RIP request Grid inactivates portfolio records for the inquiries associated with the record's Inquiry ID or our customer's Tracking ID.
The RIP response file contains a corresponding response record with the number of inquiries that were inactivated for each inactivation record in the request.
This solution:
Can accept data submissions of 1 to 100,000 inquiries per data file.
Protects at-rest files and ensures secure data exchanges between Grid and our customers with data encryption.
Supports both PSV/pipe delimited text and XML file formats.
Grid Data Feed
The Grid Data Feed solution is a system-to-system data subscription service that exports profile data to organizations that require portfolio screening, matching, and decisioning to occur behind their own firewall.
For subscribers of this data feed service, extract files are exported daily via SFTP to a Moody's SFTP server, where our customers can safely pull those files into their own environment for match processing and reviews.
This solution:
Supports an XML file format only.
Offers multiple data packages.
