About Grid system integration options
Moody's offers the following methods of integration to send screening requests and receive risk-relevant information from the Grid database:
Web interface: Submit an inquiry or bulk upload your client base through the Grid web interface and view results online. Convenient feature for quick, auditable name screening submissions and portfolio updates.
Secure file transfer protocol-SFTP: System to system integration between our customers and Grid can be achieved through secure file transfer protocol (SFTP) and encryption. This proprietary asynchronous option supports 1 to 100,000 inquiries per data file, which can be submitted using a pipe-separated value (PSV) or extensible markup language (XML) file formats. Ideal for firms that use automation to schedule batch file transmissions or create triggers within their own systems to generate and send batch files to us.
API web services: This method offers the fastest integration with Moody's inquiry risk processing solutions. Connect and communicate with Grid to receive responses soon after you submit an inquiry. Email: This option can be used to receive match alerts and notifications on submitted system and web interface inquiry batches.
Whether you submit inquiries through the web interface or through SFTP batch, you have the option of receiving an XML or pipe delimited response with your results.
