Grid portfolio monitoring and aggregated media
The Grid database processes thousands of media articles every day. Some of those articles create new records in the database, while others add to existing profiles.
In both of those instances, a copy of the profile is sent to portfolio monitoring for processing. The copy contains:
New profiles: All information captured from the initiating article.
Additions to existing profiles: New events from the initiating article, as well as all attributes from the existing profile. This includes all attributes found in the existing profile and is important in reducing false positives.
Note
When adding information to an existing profile, key data elements such as an alias, address, date of birth, continuation of an event, and more are considered.
