Search by ID code with Grid ID Lookup
Grid ID Lookup is a simple search tool that retrieves entity profile information by an industry identification code (ID) rather than by a name.
ID Lookup performs exact match searches to return a matching entity profile record. Screening workflows, such as inquiry submissions by name, portfolio monitoring, alert decisioning, or iList management, are not supported directly from within this tool.
This opt-in feature is available through the Grid web interface.
Retrieve entity profile based on an ID code search
To retrieve entity information based on an industry ID:
Go to > .
Select the industry or assigning body to which the ID is associated from the dropdown.
Enter the FULL identification code in the ID field.
A PARTIAL, properly formatted ID code is ONLY permitted if the selected ID Type is Bank Identifier Code (BIC)/SWIFT.
Select one or more event types to which the ID is associated from the dropdown.
Select a Date range from the dropdown.
Select to display matches.
ID Lookup field definitions
Field | Description |

ID Type Optional | Associated industry, classifying or classification group for the ID. Bank Identifier Code (BIC)/SWIFT must be selected if a partial ID search is required. |
ID Required | Identification numbers or characters associated with the selected ID Type (if selected). Search logic returns exact matches for values entered in this field.
Search logic does not consider spaces, dashes, slashes, or punctuation. Searches are not case-sensitive. Wildcard symbols do not return matches. |
Events Optional | Risk event types that may be associated with the ID. |
Entity Date Optional | ALL, ≤ 1 year, ≤ 3 years, ≤ 5 years, ≤ 10 years. |
