Individual screening
Used for the Assess PEPs, sanctions, and adverse media task.
This check provides a list of an individual's potential matches to sanctioned persons, politically exposed persons (PEPs), and, if available from your data provider, persons on a watchlist or internal watchlist, and instances of adverse media.
This check is performed by screening the individual against the data provider's official PEPs and sanctions lists and sources.
The possible check results are Completed or Unresolved events. The check variant determines when each result is returned.
The result details display three lists:
Unresolved matches: The potential matches returned by your data provider that you have not yet resolved. Unresolved matches are ordered by their alert score.
Confirmed matches: The matches returned by your data provider that you have identified as true matches for the individual being screened.
False positives: Any matches returned by your data provider that you have identified as false matches for the individual being screened.
Select the name of any match to see a detailed portfolio that provides all available information from the data provider about the match’s biography, associates, political exposure, events, and sources.
