Events match criteria in Grid Search tool

The Events drop-down field offers the ability to filter results by including only those records that contain the event codes you select. This lets you target the most critical items when common names produce many results.

If you select multiple events, you can expect at least one matching record is included, but not necessarily all of the selected events. Similarly, if a profile contains one of the events selected, it's returned in its entirety. The other events associated with that person or organization's record remains visible for your review.

One important note about this option is that it narrows down the events available rather than expanding them. The CVIP/data filter on the account is applied first in the process, and the on-screen filters afterwards.

For example, if your account settings do not include theft (TFT), and you select TFT in the interface, your search focuses on the other relevant event codes instead.
